Welcome to my online home. About me, I’m an Engineer who found a passion for entrepreneurship. Technically, I’m middle-aged but don’t feel it. It seems like I’ve only just begun to live my life.
I am a patriot, grew up in rural America, and love my family. Family heritage and traditions have been so important to keep me connected as I moved around with my career. Although I’m not married, I am with my “forever” person.
My career in an industry that’s not-so-friendly to women taught me strength, tenacity, and patience. Hard work built my well-respected reputation and earned my position in management. Everything I’ve learned over the years drives me towards my next challenge as entrepreneur.
My beliefs might be viewed as “old-fashioned” where a woman should act like a lady, maintain integrity, and take care of those she loves. A man should be a gentleman, also with integrity, and also cherish and take care of those they love. A person should live their life showing respect and continually earning it themselves.
On the lighter side, my interests are eclectic: travel, food, weather, astrology, holistic living, gardening, web design, politics, organizing, reading/audiobooks, health, beauty, science/technology, crystals, astronomy, lost history, and learning new things. There are more interests that I’m forgetting. My blog posts will be where my interests spill into the interweb world, so I hope you check them out.
Finally, I envision a world where hate and chaos don’t rule and love, peace, and common-sense reign. Living the simple life with the occasional splurge, and working my business, my way, on my schedule is the dream.
